Summary

The Phillips family in New Braunfels wanted a reliable way to collect and store rainwater from their large roof area in addition to their pavilian capture. Our goal was to create an efficient system that would maximize water capture while keeping maintenance low.

The Work

Built a 10k gallon Pioneer Water Tank on a concrete ring beam foundation for backup supply storage
Installed galvalume 6\" K style gutters with Hydro Flo stainless steel mesh leaf guards on pavilian and added guards to existing home gutters
Custom-built, attached, and painted downspouts using PVC & Sherwin Williams products
Trenched and installed underground conveyance lines to route water from downspouts
Connected their existing well to the tank for future backup connection
Custom built a pump house over their exposed well head to also house a new DAB booster pump and Luminor filtration unit

The Outcome

The new backup supply now collects and channels rainwater from not only their pavilian but a large portion of their house roof efficiently. We gave them peace of mind offsetting the use of their well, preserving it in the long run.
